Costumes

The term "cosplay" comes from "costume" and "play." It's dressing up in costumes as a favorite character and having fun. Some people comission thier costumes, others, like myself, make them. Traveling to conventions is a good way to show off costumes, meet people, enter "masquerades" (costume contests,) and see friends. The hobby of cosplay can be an expensive one, but it's very fun and can be rewarding. Not only can you literally win awards, but you can also gain sewing experience, become savy in the ways of traveling, and make some wonderful friends.
