Sailor Jupiter was the forth Sailor Soldier that was introduced in the series, and she fights with lightning and thunder. She's seen as a tomboyish bully, but is actually very sweet and loves to cook. This costume is based off of the design in the anime.
This costume was made by me for my friend Liz, Serenamina, though she helped with a few parts. At Ohayocon, she and I decided it would be fun to go around together as Makoto and Sailor Jupiter, so I wore it for awhile. I really enjoyed it, and I will probably come out with a Jupiter costume of my own. Even though this costume was based off of the earlier designs, we both used her transformation wand from the SuperS series. Just think of it as the moment she received that wand and right before powered up with it. |

| Construction Notes: |
| Liz, Serenamina, helped me make this costume for her. She hand sewed the skirt to the hiproll, made the cuffs for the gloves, and painted the boots. This costume was the first sailor uniform that I used a new pattern for the sleeves, and it worked out perfectly. |
| Favorite Aspect: |
| The whole thing went together rather easily. |
| Least Favorite Aspect: |
| I made a slight miscalculation while making the bows, and the front bow ended up really tiny. The tails sort of help with making it look bigger, but the loop part became much smaller than normal.
