Super Sailor Moon is the power up that Sailor Moon has in the second half of the third season, Sailor Moon S, and the forth season, Sailor Moon SuperS. This costume was based off of the design from the forth season.

I originally made this costume to be worn at ACEN 2007, but due to a costume malfunction with Sailor Cosmos, I ended up pushing it aside until Ohayocon. I made a custom wand to go with this costume, but it broke before the convention. The wig was also loaned to me from Emily, Lunaladyoflight, and the tiara was custom made by my boyfriend, Peter. The "feathers" in the hair and the "odango shields" are the only parts borrowed from previous costumes.

Hardest Part: Customizing the boots.
Made by: Stephanie
Events: Ohayocon 2008
Fabrics:
Lycra, various satins, metallic sheer lame, Model Magic, faux leather
Construction Notes:
The sleeves and back bow are held up with various gauges of wire. However, the sleeves should have been fanned out more than the were. The boots were customized by myself, with new leather strips sewn over the top. This took quite awhile to do, and I accidently pulled off the zipper pull once. Oops! This was the first bodice that I sucessfully added the seam under the bustline. The back bow was actually made of the same bow from V2, but I had taken it apart and remade it. I used pink bias tape instead of satin ribbon this time, as well as made it a little smaller.
Favorite Aspect:
The boots. They're uncomfortable, but super cute looking.
Least Favorite Aspect:

•The skirt didn't quite lay the way I had envisioned.
•The sleeves didn't fan out and I'm not sure why.
